Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside Canada (including the United States) through our third-party service providers. By using the service, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that our service providers maintain privacy protections consistent with PIPEDA.
Data is stored on Supabase with row-level security (RLS) at the database level. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Project data is isolated per team. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized website usage data. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension.
Your data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be purged within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

In compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we will only send you commercial electronic messages with your consent. Transactional messages (account confirmations, security alerts, billing) are exempt. All marketing emails include sender identification and an unsubscribe mechanism. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
Pivoteer is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.
